Fred Stefan studied computer science at the University of Leipzig and obtained his master’s degree in 2008. In his master thesis he examined the modernisation of legacy CICS applications with the Service Flow Feature in co-operation with IBM. Since 2008 he is doing his doctorate at the Chair of Business Information Systems at the Department of Computer Science. His main research interest is Integration Engineering, particularly using flexible and lightweight integration approaches.
